Maths week fun with counting

I predicted that I would need 30 beads to make my bracelet. But I only needed 16 beads. If I put 14 more beads on my bracelet then I would have 30 the amount that I predicted.

My best friend spider

This is my new best friend. I read about the character in the story called Going to the moon. I liked the spider in the story because he is so tiny and cute. I also saw that he has 8 little legs. After reading the story I got to craft a spider using pipe cleaners and googly eyes. I will carry my spider with me wherever I go.

Learning to swim

Today I learnt how to stretch out my arms and legs and swim from one side of the pool to the other. My favourite part was kicking my legs under the water. I liked splashing in the water.

Making hot chocolate

On Wednesday we made hot chocolate in room 3. First I put in 3 spoons of Milo into my cup. Next Mrs Cipio poured some milk in and I stirred it. After that she added some hot water. I stirred it. Finally I added 2 marshmallows and tasted my drink. It tasted good and yum.
